Education Bill K0RGR Classes on ZOOM, one student, went well. Starting another one starting May 15th for 3 Saturdays in a row. Online testing via Maple Grove club.

ARES Steve W0STV: Jun 1st, ARES connect to be discontinued. Will be getting more active with ARES as the summer comes.
Olmstead EOC is making progress, now SKYWARN capable.
AB0BW: State / SE Section: Zoom meeting every 4th Wednesday, Talking about public service and Field Day.

Tech Committee: John Dalin WA0MYG
Has not met, planning meeting later this month.
RARC Equipment inventory; If you have any club items, email John Dalin! (even if you are still using it, we just want to know where things are!)

Field Day: RARC Groups.io survey sent out. Pat Cahil’s is an option, Will need to stay flexible!

– Austin MN has VE Test on the 21st of April at their Chamber of Commerce
– Active/Retired IBM folks for Volunteer hours via RARC activities

Skywarn training up and running. Running until the end of April.
ARRL dropping ARES Connect.
Steve is taking Field Day:
3 clubs registered in MN for Field Day so far with ARRL
Our FD: Schaeffer, Pat Cahill’s, stay- at-home are options.
Looking for co-chair for FD this year!

AB0BW State ARES:
SE Minnesota District: Zoom meeting sometime soon for status with 11 county ECs

Public Service: Dan N0KZO
Med City Marathon is a possibility this year, possibly for October 2021, possibly September (11th tentative), no relays, two loops. Half of the normal numbers of water stations. (KF0S/K0RDA).
Won’t be doing Concerts in the Park (underutilized), may be backup for WX events.
Stay-Out-Of-The-Sun Run may be delayed until June.
Others are quiet.

End of March: 27th of March, CQ Contest
Ham Expo March 13th, online. $10 tickets for seminars.
Foxhunt potential.

John Marshall club station:
April 5th, back fully in-person. No 1st Hour group.
Looking at options for next school year, after-school.

Technical Committee: 820 backup power system maintenance, looks good.
No issues with the other repeaters.
Possible revamp of ARES trailer. Possible scrounge of EOC equipment being replaced.

KA0MYG Tech Committee: Meeting tomorrow, discussing what to address in 2021
New Yaesu update to be considered for Fusion repeater.

W0STV: For ARES, Met with Olmsted County Emergency Operations Director
County station will be down until 1st of March for revamping.
3 computers, two for digital networking (HF and VHF). Might need some hands for setting everything up.

AB0BW State Level ARES: Dodge and Olmsted giving reports.
No longer sending reports to Joe, new person for reports to be sent to for all 11 counties.

Education: Bill offering help to anyone who wants it, online classes can be offered!
$35 fee not in place until July, and materials are changing.

Field Day: Looking for volunteers, will probably look similar to 2020’s field day
Dayton cancelled this year. Online hamvention will likely take place again
