K0VH made a motion, seconded we give Pat W0BM three $25 gift certificates for Wildwood Byron as a FD thank you. He & spouse frequent the rarc Thursday socials there, perhaps the Rochester Wildwood can process if it’s easier for George?

After the meeting we decided to give Roger and Barb a $30 thank you (campsite fee?) And free 2022 rarc membership as a thanks for hosting the picnic again.

Tech Committee: Discussion about 625 repeater 1/2 power into the 100W amp (~50w out). Consensus was hundreds of dollars to bump it up probably not worth the expense, will stay at 50w for now.

Steve W0STV talked to K0RDA about club drone and baofeng emergency radio cache.
Equipment from Mayo and other agencies; two antennas and two feedlines. We will bring our own equipment to interface. Will get data on antennas. Compiling a list of Mayo operators.
ARES Trailer; W0STV checking it out. Needs new bearings.
625 repeater; old repeater to stay as a backup, new racking. Mayo expansion upwards is on hold.

BuG Group; to start on Saturday! Getting ready for airport exercise in September. Link video back to radio room. 5GHz dishes and links from KA0MYG for testing video via wifi. How to do WiFi equipment from water tower? Work-in-progress for BuG group.
Fusion repeater moved rooms (old room no longer exists). KE0YJJ’s repeater moves around to different rooms.

Public Service 
Bike MS Cycling (Austin MN); July 23-24th. Starting and ending in Austin. One way one day, the other way the next day. Any ham that can help out is requested to help. Need VHF and APRS.
Aug 28th; Healthy Human race. Still TBD
Med City Marathon; Sept 11/12th (12th to be actual marathon.)

Coordinate equipment; Collecting at the EOC.
GHz with Airport drill may be a new capability.; Sept 16th.
ARES applications; Taking corrections for ARES Roster.

Contesting: 6-meter contesting upcoming this weekend (CQ VHF)Field Day; went well! 5555 points! 1350 were bonus. CW went amazingly. 445 10m contacts! Some antenna work to do.

Education: K0RGR – Contact person for FD, may recruit a class.

Picnic @ KOA. Bring your own food/beverages, there will be club food available (hot dogs, buns, cookies). Folks can bring other food/cookies. Will be in contact to confirm.

Remote HF Club station Possibility, will investigate with the Tech Committee.

Med City Marathon is a possibility this year, possibly for October 2021, possibly September (11th tentative), no relays, two loops. Half of the normal numbers of water stations. (KF0S/K0RDA).
Won’t be doing Concerts in the Park (underutilized), may be backup for WX events.
Stay-Out-Of-The-Sun Run may be delayed until June.

New Yaesu update to be considered for Fusion repeater.

W0STV: For ARES, Met with Olmsted County Emergency Operations Director
County station will be down until 1st of March for revamping.
3 computers, two for digital networking (HF and VHF). Might need some hands for setting everything up.

AB0BW State Level ARES: Dodge and Olmsted giving reports.
No longer sending reports to Joe, new person for reports to be sent to for all 11 counties.

Education: Bill offering help to anyone who wants it, online classes can be offered!
$35 fee not in place until July, and materials are changing.

Field Day: Looking for volunteers, will probably look similar to 2020’s field day
