Field Day: Plan to do a walkthrough for planning over at the County EOC Burn Tower. Watch email/groups.io. Planning on using the new Mosley and new Yaesu radios with trailer. Field Day signup on website.
125Live: Changed name to Communications Group (Incl. Starlink, WiFi, etc.) Third Tuesday of each month. Antenna on roof is getting moved.
New business:
KE0EXE “Tarp and Table” proposal: A Motion is made to allocate up to $100 of club funds, to purchase the components of a “tarp-and-table” weather-shield system (as described in the May, 2026 Hamster Hints). Components may include table, tarp, lines, stakes, and rigid plastic-pipe leg-risers.
Modified to pick up an offered table, passed.
Club Picnic: August 11th – Need a location, can’t do KOA. Parks, Churches, Oxbow, Foster Arend, Chester Woods, Cascade Park? W0STV proposes Foster Arend as primary plan. Potluck and burgers/brats to be supplied by club (W0STV / KF0S). Bring chairs and beverages and dish to share. Need to check reservations, Nicole KF0WOR to look into shelter rental – Allocate $200 for reservation if needed between now and next meeting AA0CN proposed, KE0WWG seconded, approved. – Location tabled for now. If anyone knows of a good spot, let groups.io know. Consider John Marshall, ask around. Brainstorm and discuss in June and/or on Groups.io
