Meeting on 4/10, 7-8 participants
DSTAR repeater, status is documented in the Hamster newsletter. We have Dell computer for this site, may need fan work on that machine. Possibly getting a different computer, will discuss. Needs software and site installation, working with Taylor on this. To be put on 30C reflector. Won’t be installing add-ons at this time.
No issues reported with the other repeaters.
Public Service (Now ARES function):
May 12th-13th: Med City Marathon. Signup not yet available, check back on website. Hoping to get Fillmore and Dodge counties to help with this event. 20 Mile start is to be at mile 6.2, common finish line for all.
Contesting: No Updates
Education: Bill Osler and Dave Naatz are working on this.
ARES: 80% chance of rain this next weekend, will move. Doing antenna trailer setup at county EOC (fairgrounds) again, with key now. April 22nd @ 9AM: Tower-trailer (state) setup & repeater 147.125..
Website: Pat did a great job, DNS registration renewed.
Field Day: June 24th weekend, form to be posted to website for signup/interest. New area, new location, lots of opportunity. Taylor WB0RSJ coordinating. Need 30ft trailer or other means of transport for beam antenna elements.
State ARES: AB0BW, good reports from our county.
Winona club participating in active search operation.
Dodge Center, April 18th, SKYWARN @6:30pm training.
Skywarn Maps, still on their way.
125Live! Cabinets in soon. They need to replace an HVAC system, don’t want antennas up just yet. N0MGY volunteering a KW 850 for radio there.
