Communications Trailer

Here is my new “toy.” It’s a 1964 Scotty trailer that has been parked for over 15 years. I picked it up for $200.00. The gas tanks need to be replaced, but everything works and the interior is mint condition. It even has a bathroom. (Small, but it works) I’m setting it up with 2 meter and 11 meter radios, and a scanner. There will be provisions for HF if somebody wants to set theirs up inside during an event. It’s at a friend’s in Wabasha now, but I’m trying to get a local storage facility to donate a space for it so it can be accessible in town.

It will be available to all amateur radio operators, and especially during events. Many thanks to my good friend John Huyber, who has spent a lot of time taking care of repairs to the door, windows, and making sure the wiring works.
