October 13 RARC Presidents Address

The next Rochester Amateur Radio Club (RARC) monthly meeting is at 7 p.m. this coming Tuesday October 13th in Room HS 131, Health Sciences, at the UCR/RCTC Campus, in Rochester.

RARC next Tuesday -- new room!

The Radio Club October meeting will be next Tuesday, Oct 13, at the usual time (7pm) but in a new room: HS 131, which is still on the west side of RCTC but one entrance farther north. Maps are on the web site, www.rarchams.org , if that isn't perfectly clear. Stan says it's a really nice room.

The meeting will be devoted to wrapping up old activities, including a report on WØDXCC, and plans for future activities. The high point of the evening will be a short presentation on last summer's College for Kids, along with coffee and cake.

Not our usual program, but we have some business to attend to (such as setting up a nominating committee for next year's officers), and some of our activities deserve a longer discussion than usual (in particular, our education/outreach activities).
