The next Rochester Amateur Radio Club (RARC) monthly
meeting is at 7 p.m. this coming Tuesday June 9th in
Room SH 210, Singley Hall, at the UCR/RCTC Campus, in
Rochester.
RARC next Tuesday!
June has snuck up on me -- who'd guess a summer month could be so
busy? The June RARC meeting will be next Tuesday, June 9, 7pm in the
usual RCTC room SH210. The program will be details of Field Day,
which is just 3 weeks away! Assembly will start Friday afternoon
(6/27), and the event/contest/party continues through Sunday
afternoon. Invite your friends and family to come to the picnic
Saturday, and persuade them all to stay and operate through the night.
It all happens at Pat's farm, on the Dodge County line. Directions
are on the RARC website.
Other stuff: (1) there's another public service event coming up June
13/14. See
www.ms-scram.org, or call Will
Ziegenhagen volunteer coordinator at the MS Society office 612-335-7992.
(2) Alan Bloom K1AL writes in the Elecraft mail list:
For those interested in digital, I have posted on my Web site a big
spreadsheet listing all the different modes I could find with technical
and other information on each one. There are also a number of links to
other sites for those who want more information.

(3) As I announced at the meeting last month, I'm planning a CW
course/workgroup, going through the K7QO course. I'm swamped right
now, and will be till late July, so it won't start for a while. If
you're interested,
send me an email
.
See you Tuesday,
