February 10 RARC Presidents Address

The next Rochester Amateur Radio Club (RARC) monthly meeting is at 7 p.m. this coming Tuesday February 10th in Room SH 210, Singley Hall, at the UCR/RCTC Campus, in Rochester.

RARC Feb meeting -- new room

The February RARC meeting will be next Tuesday, February 10, at 7pm. It will be in UCR/RCTC Room SH210 , not in the room we've been using. If you came early to the January meeting, you saw the reason: a class got scheduled into "our" room. SH210 is near the old room, but inside the main building and up on the second floor. We'll be using it for the rest of the academic year. Thanks to Stan for arranging this.

Highlight of the meeting will be the report from the Expo committee, and the discussion to follow. The program will be pretty good, too: Robert Andrews will talk about the new APRS units.

Dues have been coming in, but quite a few active members haven't gotten around to it yet. You can check your dues status on the club web site, under "Members" in the rightmost column.

If you have a friend or family member working toward a license, there will be a VE license testing session at the Red Cross building, 6:30pm Thursday Feb 12.
