Treadman Duathlon 2007
Saturday September 1st greeted approximately 150 participants for the second annual Treadman Duathlon with perfect weather.   A duathlon is a run, bike, run event.  Starting at Douglas, MN, competitors begin with a 5 km  (3.2 mile) run on county roads and the Douglas Trail.  Returning to the trail head, they begin a 30 km (19 mile) bicycle time trial stage which takes them west to north of Byron, MN,  north to near Pine Island, then turn south back to Douglas.  Then its back to the running shoes and a 5 km out-and-back on the Douglas Trail to the finish line.

Runners and staff enjoyed a variety of snacks at the finish.
